As a young professional, I had the chance to create a business consulting seminar for several small business owners, managers and operations staff of different charitable programs that provided opportunities for refugees to become economically sustainable.
We designed an internal process for the Self Help Africa department. They were facing a great challenge, to ensure their business model was rightfully functioning, we chose mentors to give a full guide on how to aproach and measure their mentees' goals.
We visited several small business owners in order to prove their growth viability. Here we met one of the participants' pig farm.
The Zambian government provide facilities for participants to grow crops and sustain the refugee camp's local market by its population.
